PASSAGE RATES.
The conditions stated in the Handbooks of information of the P. & 0. ana British India Steam Navigation Companies remain in force so far as they are at present applicable. Copies of the Handbooks, or either of them, will be supplied on application, but their general circulation 15, meantime, suspended.
Revised Fares.-The new passage rates quoted in the schedules within bave been fixed by direction of the Ministry of Shipping. Return Tickets are at the same time abolished, but the customary re-booking abatements for passengers returning, and, in most cases, other customary allowances, will be continued.
Insurance of Baggage.-All baggage is at passengers' risk unless The cost of insurance can be ascertained by application as
insured. below.
Notice of Embarkation is issued within a few days of the sailing of each vessel from London detailing the arrangements for passengers under this head.
The Companies' West End Office, 17, Northumberland Avenue, will be closed on and from 31st May instant, from which date, pending the opening of new West End Offices, all enquiries should be addressed as below.
